Capturing Experience

Many of today's 50+ population want to use their experience to make a real difference in their communities and are looking for paid or unpaid work that is personally fulfilling. Across the country, millions of people over 50 are already engaged in a wide variety of formal and informal activities that benefit family and friends, organizations, and communities.

The potential for people 50+ to help non-profits address important community issues is enormous. Critical talent shortages in sectors such as health care, education and social services and limited funding make it essential for organizations to expand and diversify their workforce. Yet most non-profits have not begun to think about the myriad of ways they could benefit from this burgeoning group of maturing adults. And many lack the kinds of inspiring opportunities that will appeal to the largest, most educated group of older adults in our history.

How can YOUR organization capture the energy and expertise of this growing human resource to help you achieve your mission and have more impact?
